A Time of Refreshing

Are You Ready to GET REFRESHE

Feel like your soul needs that renewing of your mind and spirit, God is there to pick us up when we need to be  cleaned up on the  inside. Ever fallen down and ruined your clothes, they were ripped and torn, and filthy, well we need that moment with God once again, to cleanse us and make us new again. To touch  our hardened  heart, and bring us back into his loving hands. How often we forget about him, and what he has done for the whole entire world by sending his only son, to die for our sins.

We need his forgiveness, to repent of our selfish ways,  our not going to him with everything we need, not  trusting. Saying that we trust in him , just does not make it happen, we must totally believe in and trust him.,

As parents we try to reach out to our teenage children, but they just do not want to hear what a parent may have to say. We are just like that  rebellious teen, when God tries to get our attention, we ignore him  turn  our hearts to the world, and its valuable things. We pick up the remote, or the laptop,  check  Social Media, we start our day with Social Media more than we start with God, not even a   thank you Lord for your goodness and mercy, and for the gift of another day.

What is   so important that it just cannot wait… we need to put him first. Our relationship with God should be our top priority. He wants to hear from  us. We are his children, his chosen people, we belong to a royal family. The family of God, let us remember this, take your time each day with God. Prayer is our lifeline, my dear friend, to God. Keep it open.

Everything You Need for A Beautiful Garden

man-hand-garden-growthSpring is here and we like most want to make things look so awesomely beautiful, to make our home so inviting to those that may pass by. I myself love roses and beautiful flowers full of vibrancy in color and oh yes, that wonderful aroma that is so intoxicating, you just want to inhale all the time. In other words, it would take your breath away.  In the garden that God would plant, is beautiful, it has beauty and such a sweet aroma, in this case, indescribable.
When God prunes the garden, he takes away the old dead branches, and leaves, that would suffocate new growth. The winds blow hard at times, to help with the falling and scattering of leaves, and pollen to saturate the soil.
As soon as the grounds are clear, he plants the seeds with much care. He decides the perfect place for each flower and plant.  He knows exactly how it will bloom, and how long it will last once planted.  The great gardener then brings on the rains to add food and sustenance to each plant and flower.
God is with us, he prunes, then plants us to where we ought to be, and gives to each of his children the things they need, food and water, spiritually and also he meets our physical needs.

Luke 12:27
Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Our Father is the best, he plants his children just in the right spot, where he can mold and create the newness o f life and breathes fresh life into their hearts and minds. As we care for plants and flowers,  we water, and feed, and even remove the little pests that are destroying our garden.

God does so much, he tends to his sheep with love.
In the spring and summer of life,  yes even during the fall and winter, he is there.

God is Creating A Garden

Never Underestimate the Power of Prayer

There is power in the name of Jesus, and in the prayer of faith. Trust in the Lord and lean not to your own understanding. Prayer is our lifeline to the Father. He is in control, he knows our future. Putting all your worries and cares on him will give you freedom like you have never known.
Sometimes it is easiest to just worry, and tell our friends what is wrong, and let it play over and over in our mind, that anxiety tends to grip our hearts. Your friends may be a great sounding board, but they are not God, they really cannot relieve your heart or mind, only the Father of life can do that.
We feel like a reed that has been broken, but never fear, Jesus is near, he sees and knows the broken hearted, if your his child call upon his name and he will answer you.

Texting Is Convenient… Hearing Your Voice is Precious

person-woman-hand-smartphone

The thought came to me this evening, of just how I would love to see my children and my grandchildren, but if for some reason they are not able to visit,  would prefer to hear their voice on the telephone. Just imagine how our Father may feel, he too would love to hear more from his children. He wants to connect with us, no different from a mother wanting to hear from her own children, God want us to talk with him too! Connecting with one another is great, it brings us closer, we find out the good times they had through that day or week. We get excited when they tell us how much they love and miss us.

Well, I think God if he would sit down with each of his children, he may want them to know that he is there for them, he loves them, and how he misses them when they do not call upon him.  Relationships with family are so important, especially our communication, we need to talk with one another, laugh together and sometimes yes we may have to cry together.

God is waiting there for each of us, just wanting to get back to communing with all of his children. He wants to let us know, that we are missed when he does not hear our voices calling out to him. If be in thanksgiving or in praise, or just calling on him for help.

I am a mom, I love it when my now grown children call me, to chat about their day, telling of about their hopes and dreams, and yes to let me know…  to remember them in prayer.

Think about the Father, give him a call out, pray and thank him for all he has done for you.  Also, remember your mother and father, call them, tell them you love them.
